Printers are common devices whose use on the network is not sufficiently protected, perhaps due to the all too common assumption that their services are somehow negligible and, as such, not worthy of protection.

This article, authored by Prof. Giampaolo Bella, our Chief Cybersecurity Advisor and Professor of Cybersecurity, Privacy and PT at the University of Catania, addresses the issue by offering a qualitative risk assessment supported by technical and practical experiments to undermine this assumption.
